A BMW 7 Series, i7 or XM in Bangalore is best protected in four layers: full-body or extended PPF over corrected paint, ceramic coating on top, heat-rejecting window tint, and interior protection for the leather and trim. These are cars where the cabin and glass matter as much as the paint, so protecting only the front bumper leaves most of the value exposed. Layer 1: Paint Protection Film
- 7 Series and i7: long bonnets and wide front ends collect chips on the airport road and ORR. Full-body gloss PPF is the norm at this level; at minimum, a Track Pack plus door edges and rear bumper.
- XM: a heavy, wide performance SUV with large wheels and aggressive intakes. Full body, with particular attention to the lower doors, sills and rear arches.
